It's a short outside tour but once you get to the site of the bones it's an in closed area with a/c. Very comfortable. I have problems with the heat as well and I stayed in the cool area until I cooled down
It will be warm, take the golf cart there and back. The actual Mammoths are in air conditioned building. This is well worth a little heat.
Pretty hot weather is higher than el Paso but at the place where the excavation is it's inside and has red. Air ..it's a nice place to go see
They also offer a covered golf cart ride to the dig site. My elderly parents took advantage of it and the ride is free to and from.
It's a short trail walk to the enclosed facility. The entire tour is in the facility.
