Beth was correct, it's not something we can do, but there are some programs out there that are designed to pay family caregivers or provide for personal assistants. These programs sometimes have age and income limitations, but you can always try DORS (Department of Rehabilitation Services) which focuses on disabled persons who are not seniors. Or you can reach out to AgeLinc to see if they have any programs available for a senior loved one.
Like could you get paid from home instead to take care of your husband? No. Not unless your husband is paying home instead for service. Even then he would get other care givers and not you. The only way you get paid is if you work for them and taking of whatever client they need you to care for. However no they don't pay you to take care of your husband.
