I only know that I bought 2 psirs of baby socks at Dollar General last year, and my Cocker weighs 32#. (you might need rubber bands). I considered aluminum foil, but figured it would come off. LOL I just put them on her this morning after I let her out at 3am and she came limping back into the house. So, at 8 am, I used the baby socks and they worked fine for just long enough to go pee/poop. She lost one on the way back up on the porch. To put them on her, i slid my fingertips down inside the sock before I put her foot inside it. It keeps from getting toenails hung up on the way on. I was sure glad I had them. They are laying on the floor register drying now, waiting for next trip outside. Good luck.
