If fedex attempted to deliver a package and you weren't there to receive it can it be delivered or pick up at a facility the next day instead?

I checked the update on it and it says it's in the facility so I'm not sure if they are going to deliver it again

It depends on the service, in most cases they will re-attempt delivery the next day. If its left a facility for you to pick up, it will normally be indicated on the tracking information or on the door tag they leave.
