Would this be an appropriate place to bring a small group of high school students? I am starting a slam poetry club at my high school, and I would like to have the students be able to experience a "real life" open mike/poetry situation

Every Monday starting at 7 pm there is Java Expressions. It is ann open mic where poetry and music is preformed. If you want to get on the sign up sheet I would advidse to be there by no later than 6 pm because the preformer's sheet fills up kind of fast.

I would talk to them about it but I've seen things like this in the loft.

I don't live in NC, but I'll definitely ask the locals there to know the details.
