No take it to the String Man on the square. He is the best.

Just a quick weigh in on this topic..........yes, it is advantageous to get a new guitar set up when you make an online purchase. This will allow you to personalize the guitar so it plays the way you want. Wood being shipped from different regions and through different climates may experience some shifting and will need to be adjusted for optimal playing. Obviously I am biased - we have a great team of techs. We are the authorized service center for Fender and several popular brands. We have a team that can help with everything from simple string changes to full restorations. Concert Musical Supply has been serving middle Tennessee for over twenty years.......we would love to serve you !!
CMS has a fantastic tech. He's factory certified by Fender, Jackson, EVH, and many more. He knows his stuff. Helpful hint: a new guitar always needs a set up, especially if it's been shipped. Wood moves.
Search how to do it yourself on YouTube, it’s easy and it will teach you more about the guitar. If you just absolutely refuse to do it yourself then you can take it to either place neither will screw it up
I agree with String Man
