I would not take kids...in my experience not wise...just sayin
The problem is this: My cousin is performing Friday night and my two young daughters want to see her. Also my oldest turned 18 today, so I'm in a bit of a pickle!
It's definitely a bar atmosphere, but it's tame during the day. I've seen kids at the tables, and they have a small (unprinted) kids menu with the standard fare you'll find at family restaurants. Pre-happy-hour, I'd say go for it.
