They carry very different products and very different brands. Trader Joe's is mostly their own brands and the same all the time with the exception of season food. Sprouts has more variety of national brands and their own brand. Their produce can be bought as much or as little as you want. TJ is prepackaged or sold individual. Like each single banana is a price. About 95% of TJ food has sunflower in it. Oil or lecithin. Even their lunch meat. A lot smaller selections there too. They definitely have their die hard, obsessed fans that say they can do no wrong. Also not really anything much organic or gmo free.

Like any grocery stores; the differences are brands, pricing, and selection quantity. Your best bet is to browse each one's website and shop the store that meets your needs.
