Do you make it a habit of asking customers for their zip code when using a debit card in the drive thru?

I have NEVER been ask either one of those for my debit card at a fast food or gas station please be careful giving your information so freely

I called wendys n spoke with the manager and he said they should never ask for it. Since my daughter was asked this her account was hacked .

I have the same experience as Ike Reese above. My usual gas station always asks for my ZIP when I use a debit card, but I've never been asked for that information at Wendy's or any other fast food

Sometimes it's a security precaution for the card holders protection. I have never experienced it personally. But if you go to a gas station, they often times require a zip code or a pin number. It's for your safety, appreciate the courtesy and keep on moving on!
