You didn't get a receipt? That's Strange I've always gotten a receipt from Aldi I've been shopping at an Aldi for Over 30yrs I guess I'd take it back with original box and plain to them you didn't get a receipt and would like one for your purchase Hope that helps!
I'm pretty sure that if you shop there alot they know you and will let you get a new one I have gone back and returned things especially if you are a good customer.
Go back to the aldi store, and tell thrm...I'm sure they'll let you return it if it doesn't work. They're very accommodating.
There should be Warranty paperwork in the box, as a rule, companies are now wanting you to contact them with issues, especially since Aldi just carries these items seasonally
Really a credit card ? Just call the store talk to the manager they are always helpful.
If you call the store and give them the time you were rhere and the method of payment they should be able to help you
