My bathroom door is off more tha 6months now and my face basin is clog and I have a four year old should I still pay my rent because I have been complaining over and over without any help from my land lord more than promises

I have some tenant that haven’t pay rent for 2 years now they apply for the rental assistance and they never gave me the money now they getting investigated but I still can’t take them out because of course Passaic county is really Behind on they court case they still doing case from 2020 what could I do

If you hold off paying the rent you need to put it into a bank account separate from yours to pay them when they complete the repairs. I would contact the housing department about the exact details however. Because doing the wrong thing could get you evicted.But at the same time landlords have to to provide proper living conditions and are expected to make repairs in a timely manner.
