If I had a lone bat in my house and I did not touch it, should I have the post-exposure rabies vaccine series? The bat flew in and went into our loft, and I haven't seen it since. This happened on 5/23/22. Thanks.

If you know for a fact that you had no physical contact with the bat then there is no need for a post-exposure rabies vaccine series. If you have any questions, please give us a call.

Most definitely. You may not have touched it physically but Bat fecies and saliva are extremely toxic and infectious even unknowingly just putting your hand on it come in contact with a scratch on your body scratch or unseemanly known bite could be deadly
