No published age but junior racers must be between 48 and 58 Inches tall. I've seen as young as 6, it does help if they know what turning left and right is. More than once I've seen them drive straight into the wall. The race manager can control the max speed of individual karts. I've had them turn down the speed on my grandson's friends until they got the hang of it.

It's more of a size to ride the adult karts you must be 58'' tall. Anything under that is the kids karts not sure if there is an age limit for the kids. They do not run smaller karts with bigger karts
