It's mainly to help with theft but don't be offended please they do it to everyone
I hate when they accost me at the exit doors asking to see my receipt!😑😑 I understand that it is to help with theft but that doesn't ease the aggravation.😫 You should have been issued another receipt in customer service when you had exchanged your item. Then when you came to the exit doors you could have presented that new receipt. Every once in a while, when they ask for my receipt, I firmly but politely tell them no.😉
I don't know the reason for this. One doesn't get two receipts when purchasing-This is another of life's baffling struggles is all I can say. Does anyone out there have a reasonable answer?
Cause of the new policy since people have stolen items before and try to return it but had no proof that they bought
