Are there any bears? My son and I are first time campers

Don't worry too much about that, but it's good practice to treat it as if there are.

We've never heard of any bears being around there. We live about an hour or so from there, and there have been bear sightings over the years in the woods around our home. But it's very rare.

There are signs everywhere to be on the lookout for black bears but we didnt see any.
