Chris....the problem was not just no bread....the employees acred so unconcerned. ...I ran a convience store with a grill and restaurant for 23 years. If you are out of bread then you try to offer something else. They were too busy sitting down. I get it...you run out of things but customer service and caring goes a long way too
They do care, but you never know how many customers you might have. An option could be haviing some refrigerated or frozen loaves, but some folks would dislike that as well.
It's a holiday weekend so I'm sure there was no way they could anticipate how many travelers/extra shoppers to expect. I visit them quite frequently and I've never had that problem.
We are very sorry that we sold out of bread so early today. We had a couple of unexpected large orders this morning and unfortunately ran out by noon. We will be baking more fresh bread tomorrow morning. We apologize for the inconvenience.
wow im sorry. thats sounds like its a southern thing. i dont get it. some businesses just dont care.
