From what I recall, they do have electric shopping carts for people with handicaps or limited mobility. I believe they are kept inside the store. The regular shopping carts require a 25 cent deposit that must be used to unlock the cart. This ensures people return the carts to the store so Aldi does not have to pay someone to retrieve them. At other stores I have seen electric carts left in the parking lots as well.. so I do not know if a deposit for one will be required at Aldi, or how much it might be.
