I believe that is correct. Keep your receipts, document when you did the oil change. The mileage at the time that you did the oil change.
Should be Ok to change the oil yourself AS LONG AS YOU SAVE ALL RECEIPTS so that you can prove without a doubt that it was done in a correct, timely manner. I would check with the dealer to ensure that you document correctly.
any action will void your warranty. including the dealership you bought it from. I did mistake to buy my jeep from them. I already saved few of my clients from them. I just stoped them from the mistake I did. My clients bought Honda and very happy. They just called me with appritiatian today. Now if I hear from any of my clients they are going to Jeep crisler I invite them to see my jeep and read all my reviews and they just go to a different seller and diferent make . Most of them go with Honda.
Yep dealership willnot honor any warrantys infact ones your car is off the lot it's too old. So keep that in mind
