Yes, every one i go into IN Lake city there is a LONG wait. Their is NEVER enough help, and boxes everywhere in my opinion. The restroom was always pretty clean. You do have to wait in line fir the key though, by then you might piddle yourself! Why you ask do they do this? Its more cost effective, but the consumer pays for the aggravation of waiting. Boxes all over because check out lady runs cash register, AND has to stock merchandise whether busy or not! Do i need to take a picture? What a joke. I think that some of these reviewers are fake..lol THANKFULLY, not all of us are in Lake City.
Being a former DG Employee, it would stand to reason that they're SORELY in need of employees; best suggestion: ENCOURAGE THOSE THAT ARE LOOKING FOR WORK TO APPLY AT THE FL. WORKFORCE INNOVATION CTR. FOR THE DG STORES THAT ARE SHORT-STAFFED.....PROBLEM SOLVED😉😉😉.
My son works at dg in alabama. It's bad management. Also some workers just do not do their share of the work load. Basically, it's a combination of things not getting done because half the employees dont do their jobs.
They are constantly replacing Items that they have RUN out of and making room for New Item's. I'm always going there for Toothpaste, Paper Towels and all my Basic Necessities. Compared to Wal-Mart and Other Stores they are much, much Cheaper. Just ask them to Move said Items out of your way and they will be more than Happy to do so.
Hard to get help when the President pays people not to work! :/
That is a good question but thankfully it's not that way at all the Dollar General stores in Lake City.
