Did this bar used to be called something else...such as just revered to as Smith lake? Like many many years ago...like over 25 or more?

It was Smith Lake Grocery originally, then Paul & Tony Hall turned it to a bar & ran it for years..Tony's daughter ran it for a while, then 2-3 others tried to run it,then Ron bought it &did a lot of renovations, but didn't last but a year as Shifty's,-now John & Candy have reopened it as Watering Hole @Smith Lake with a touch of the OLD & a lot of New.. They are great owners &you should give the place a visit.. i've been a patron here for over 30 years & still like it.. M W

It was previously Shifty's Hideaway then Smith Lake Bar sometime before that.

See that's what I thought. When I was a little kid I spent many weekends here with my bio dad.... N knew it as only Smith lake. Glad to see it's still there. That's kinda cool. That it's been there that long
