Today at 1:53 pm I left one packet with food at desk cashier #6. When I back to store supervisor refused return me money , because as I was told next customer picked up my packet. Is this fair?

It's not fair. But. I also once left a bag with new clothes in the subway cab, worth $ 200 with a check inside :) when I returned, someone picked up my bag. offensively.
