No, you order off a menu both sushi and/or regular food. Used to love Ming Garden the food is not as good as it was but it has so many dishes to choose from. Service better @Silk Road.
No, it's a sit down restaurant. You will receive a menu with daily specials of sushi. If you are looking for Chinese food that is buffet, Ming garden is where you need to go. But if you want a nice atmosphere with great food, go to Silk Road.
