Can you fish at this location? Is it productive? New to the area if that wasn't obvious already 😂😂

No fish at Lions, but i have seen people trying at Provo river which is near by.

Its not a good fishing spot. I dont know if anyone would bother you or tell you not to but there are way more productive spots just a little fuether down the provo river trail.

I was just there yesterday, didn't see a single fish.

Not positive but technically I don't think you can legally fish it. Besides I frequent the park often and have never seen any fish other than maybe a minnow or two. It's an irrigation canal. If you want to experience fishing just follow Provo River until you start getting close to where it empties into Utah Lake. I have a buddy who brings in the hugest channel cats, ( 4-6 lbs ) on a very consistent basis and usually at night.

No you cannot fish here.

Anna Strain | Jun 12, 2019

I doubt you'll catch anything. It's a small river.

Jerry Hayward | Jun 12, 2019

Yes, but its a small stream i doubt you'll catch anything.

I would head a little south to the Provo river. I usually hit my daily limit with spinners.
