Indeed its still standing in the same spot but various businesses around it are gone today. You must be thinking of either Bolder Creek or Friendly's for those 2 are gone along with Pathmark & the Subway next door. Wendy's is still around but it's exterior & interior were remodeled after the new building replaced the old in 2015. As for the very first Carvel ever opened? That's gone too for it moved down the block and merged with the Subway that once was in between Pathmark & McDonald's. As for what happened to the original Carvel location? It remains abandoned to this day while it's current building used to be PlayNTrade until 2015 as well. The Chinese Restaurant known as Gem went bankrupt & got bought & converted into Tasty House which is a more Japanese oriented restaurant. Pizza Hut & Taco Bell no longer share the same building for PepsiCo chose to separate them after Pizza Hut sails declined in Early 2016. Pathmark itself suffered a similar fate as Gem's for it is now Hmart.
