There are conditioning classes and complete beginner aerial classes. Also, students of all sizes. Teachers will work with you and any concerns you have. No prerequisites, but with any fitness activity make sure you discuss with your doctor.
It requires upper body strength and somewhat a strong core. They have classes to help you attain these. The teachers are very helpful and encouraging and won't force you to do anything you're not comfortable with or ready for. It is a process but the results will have you feeling amazing and give you a sense of pride in yourself
