I have until November 30th to move out of the room I'm renting however I need more time should I go back before the date to request more time or wait until November 30th because that's what my lawyer told me but that seems a little sketchy to me.

You have until nov. 30 to move out. I would go a week before that date and ask for more time. But before you do you're going need to prove WHY you need more time.

I suggest you go in the middle of the month to show cause. Also bring evidence to show you that you are looking. Good luck
