I have a yamaha FGX 700 SC that is getting tough to play.When I fret the first fret the string almost touches the second fret as well.SO,it obviously needs an adjustment. I also would like guitar inspected for wear and cleaned. Idea of cost?

Just call or email Greg he will let you know up front. Guys an expert, monster guitar repair, honestly my guitars feel like they've been touched by a luthier when I get them back - Im at a loss as to where I would go to find service as good as Greg's should I ever move out of the DC area.

Could be a number of things...fret wear, neck adjustment, bridge height, or all of the above...a pro like Greg should be able to sort it out and let you know
