I’ve been to makotos many times and I love it, my boyfriend has never been and he’s extremely allergic to shellfish. would he still be able to eat here with everything being cooked right in front of you? Mixed with other people’s orders?

I have seen them honor other special cooking/separation requests, but if this is life or death I would certainly call the restaurant directly.

If you tell them of the allergy, they would most likely cook his food separate in back, not in front with the other food.
