I had purchased two Bemis Statite soft close toilet seats. I just installed them. The first one was fine. The second one squeaks loudly when opening it!!
What to do now??

Put a drop or two of oil on the hinges

You can try to put a lubricant like 3 in 1 oil or return to store

I'm not sure, but you could try a little bit of Vaseline
