There are many museums and historic sites in the Shenandoah Valley. It's hard to say, because I dont know exactly where you are. There are many free concerts and other activities this week due to the Independence Day holiday.

Museum of the Shenandoah, Monticello, Montpelier, Woodrow Wilson presidential library, Shenandoah national park, natural bridge, lurey caverns, blue ridge parkway, colonial williamsburg and jametown colony.
