The $ 500.00 amount is not correct. $ 250.00 is the norm for regiatration. Additional Items purchaed by the family may cost more but the consumer retains those items and often fundrasing reduces that cost as well as registration significantly.

There's no cost to tryout. And once your child makes a team there is a registration fee. And then along with Spirit pack and other miscellaneous things. But that can vary according to what area you are in. But the actual registration fee for the league is $250.
After signing up and buying the spirit pack and things of that sort..sums up to about $400
