Sometimes you just get the wrong employee
Sad thing is that sometimes the person working is not really listening. You would think been that early in the morning that they could get the order right but if they're not listening wholeheartedly then they're never going to get it right. I would suggest calling and complaining on the survey to let them know and call the restaurant and let them know. Sometimes they'll be happy to refund you or give you a free meal. Good luck in the future.
Sometimes mistakes do happen and if you didn't have time to take it inside to have it fixed. I'm assuming you were in the drive up. They usually will fix it for you but you could take the survey on your receipt and leave your phone number and I've had them call me before and send me free stuff. You might give that a try for complaints. Hopefully it doesn't happen too often. But very frustrating like you said early morning and 10 minutes.
