Yes, they also have cube steaks which I've used to make subs before. You can also ask the butcher for different cuts. They've always helped me get exactly what I've needed.
You can get special meats cut or they have what's called steak"ums" in a box, they are at the freezers at the end of the produce before the freezer of seafoods. I find them very much like the sub shops use. I fry up sweet peppers and onions and mushrooms, up in butter. Just let them cook for five minutes, tossing and let them get a little soft . You've got a great sub.melt your 🧀 cheese right before you take it out. Fantastic sub.
