You don't have to be an Ohio resident for handgun sales. I bought a Glock19 and shield from Cincy West and I live in Indiana. Background check is all you need to pass. They will send the gun across state lines to a licensed FFL shop of your choosing for you to go pick it up after the background check. Takes maybe a couple extra hours tops.
