I hope these stores would wash the clothes. I mean, they're receiving items for free; I would hope they would want to ensure that the customers receive a "new" item. I work in a nonprofit, where we provide clothes for free. Now, we don't wash clothes; however, we're also not selling the clothes. And we do our best to catch those items [and toss] that are [way] not suitable to be available for the customers--even at no cost.
