Its the employees.... Walmart, just like McDonald's, Burger King, and almost all stores, as a business, WANT their stores to have excellent customer service.......however, the Company doesn't hire these folks we deal with, its low level managers, assistant managers, shift supervisors, ect... So, instead of employees with "customer service" as the priority, we get (alot of times), physically attractive workers who look good wearing tight versions of the uniform, but could care less about the customer. Mostly young students , folks who just "need a job", or freinds and family to the managers. Customer service quickly becomes a low priority and, the results reflect back to the Company. For example, BurgerKing up north, is close to McDonald's in popularity, but somehow the BurgerKings down here (im in san antonio,tx) are so irrelevant that you barely know where to find one. Point is, filter out employees better suited for the position, and customers get a better experience overall
Walmarts seem to have their own culture. I find the same management culture at all Walmarts. Sure it is frustrating, but I don't know if it will ever change.
