I guess I could ask you the same question why would you be in a store open 24 hours wanting to buy such items at an unusual hour? I'm sure that only one or two employees (most likely upper management) would have access to those items at such late hours. Not only that, but have you seen what kind of odd people come in to Walmart at such crazy hours, I don't think they want everyone and their dog to have access to a lot of the items, such as weapons...
Especially guns and knives. What if somebody needs killin' in the middle of the night?
