Yes, the Imam Abdullah does follow the way of "the pious predecessors", taken to be the first three generations of Muslims, that is the generations of Prophet Muhammad and his companions (the Sahabah) and their companions. Peaceful environment,no fitna on the sisters side. Alhamdolillah!
Honestly you have to watch how you say salafi..me or you can't be salafi,we can follow ways of the first three generations the dawah and the men hedge of the salafi..so to the point that your asking yes the imam there and what he teaches is salafi thats where he learned under graduates of knowledge...
I follow the manhaj of the salaf as saliheen but I would never call myself salafi. Sounds like a hizbi cult
