Why is it that this store can have 12 people in line to check out and only 1 register is open even tho there is another person in the office just setting there

I walked out yesterday and will not stop there again if there is more than I car on front of store. I left and went to dollar general in east tupelo and was checked out right away. Mooreville store needs attention

I have found that if you stand at the empty register and ask nicely, they will usually open the line fairly fast. Very frustrating though and corporate should change their policy regarding this problem. Many have walked out and spent their money somewhere else.
