Yeah the manager should have closed the door one and that should not be happening in a public forum to begin with. Anything like that should be taken up in a more private manner a disagreement between an employee and a manager or an employee and another employee it can really hurt your business when people feel uncomfortable about coming in with all the other restaurant of the same name in the city it's really not hard to change Waffle House. Sad to say it's just how things are it is a public restaurant. But I agree the door should have been closed or something and the apology should have been a little more sincere..
I dont have an answer i have a comment. While eating breakfast the other morning i had the pleasure of listening to one of the ladies talking about her grandfather's surgery with all the gorey details. What a great breakfast conversation.
I remember that location. The wait staff left me standing at the checkout while the food I had ordered to go sat in front of me getting cold. The girl seemed annoyed when she finally came over after my signalling her. You take the good with the bad. Oh, on that note, if the coffee isn't fresh don't think twice about asking for a new pot.
