Yeah you don't have to pay to get into the park unless it's hosting some sort of event. Like most public parks.
Hi Rebecca. Yes, Sevier Park is a free public park. If you want to reserve the pavilion areas you must apply through Metro Parks and Recreation and pay a fee. There is also a regional community center which is free to use unless you book a private event or take a class. There may also be a charge for outdoor festivals held at the park but no all of them charge.
