So they don't take a 50$ or a 100$.. went to buy my daughter a present to take to a birthday party she was attending. I was attempting to spend about 40-50 can't remember the total.

Many companies don't accept 50 or $100 bills because of the counterfeit rate. For that reason whenever I get my change from the bank, I only get 20s.

There’s been a lot of counterfeit lately. We took a fake $100, 3 days ago so My job just put up a sign two days ago saying we no longer take bills over $20 because of how much fake currency is going around! I’m sure that’s the same reason why party city doesn’t take them either anymore. Fortunately we have cameras and caught the guys face on our drive thru camera

Nope a sign taped on the counter says no bills over a 20$. Of course I didn't see it, I was just there to pay, my kid brought her items up and set them down. Regardless who doesn't accept a sell these days? I don't care if it's a1000$ bill it it's legal U.S. currency I'm finding a way to make that sell.. party City the next chain to close it's stores. We don't want your money. Lol you'll never get another Penney from me. And who ever else I trigger not to shop there. 😆😆😆😆
