I have a question. Why as management would you announce the opening of a registered allow a customer to put the goods on the belt and then make the person wait for over 5 minutes before the customer gives up and leave?

I disagree, it is to long to wait. It seems like they always have a lot of employees walking around not looking if there is someone to be checked out. Management. Needs to improve in several ways.

A five minute wait isn't long. They do have to help the people out who use self check out sometimes.

5 minutes wait isn't a long time. If something happens to the register!
