Sort of is a better answer. Rodney Scott left his parents' place in Hemingway to start his own restaurant in Charleston, Rodney Scott's BBQ. So while they are obviously similar, they are two different restaurants with no legal connection. Rodney has since opened a second location of RSBBQ in Birmingham, with rumors of more to come.
