Can you bring your small dog into the store due to the cold, while you shop?

I have been taking my dog in Michael's and Hobby Lobby for years and no one has ever said anything to me about it and definitely if it's cold I would bring it in the worst they can do is tell you to take the dog out of their store but they're extremely nice

Haven't seen dogs in the store. Sometimes if it isn't a restaurant, dogs are allowed I would call to make sure.
