We have requirement in labeling - yes? Why? The greater good. We have a legitimate medical need pathway via the Americans with Disability Act for well trained/behaved service animals (not Paris Hilton pets) - yes? Then why do you subjugate your legitimate medical requirement to their selfish want? The simple fact is. Unless you have a qualified medical need (your best pal or 'emotional support' animal does not count) - taking your pet into any public place IS A SELFISH and very inconsiderate thing. You may think you are virtue signaling how considerate you are but you are telegraphing the diametric opposite.
I’m violently allergic to peanuts but I don’t expect public places to cater to me because I’m not self-centered. Some people are terrified of snakes so maybe pet stores shouldn’t carry them. Think of others. We all have something. If you don’t like stores that allow dogs don’t go to those stores. Simple.
