This is a management issue at this location, I recommend going a few exits up to the other locations for better service and food portions.
Not sure but I have had that same problem at this one. But it was a long time ago and I still go back

Have never had that issue at any Cracker Barrell. Always friendly service. When you are seated, they usually tell you who your server will be. If their extremely busy, I could understand a little wait. If you are not happy, you may speak to a manager to see if there is a problem of some kind that you haven't received any service.
I had a little bit of trouble with my food there but I spoke to the manager and he was promptly fixed
