I don't know about the msg. Servers are busy, sometimes unengaged with little patience for indecision, but a few service shortcomings fade away when the storm of great food rainson your table. I was there yesterday and reminded why I can't help but share the place with others.
I wouldn't rely on anyone's response. Instead, I suggest you assume they do use msg. Their food is delicious, but if msg is important to you... take the risk.
