I remember a Popeyes in New Orleans around 1974 on Canal Street... Does anybody else remember that location around that time?

Peter Stricker: I don't remember outdoor seating, I remember it being kind of a hole in the wall with booths on either side of the room and the kitchen in the back. Of course my best guess is I was there around 1973 to 1974 so I suppose outdoor seating could have been added

Yes indeed, I’m thinking it was around 1976. I was on a business trip to Houston and New Orleans and recall eating at Popeyes on Canal Street, about where it is today. I seem to recall it had outdoor seating, too.

Out is still there. Not as good as it used to be.
