Quad Area is experiencing a very high volume of calls from residents requesting assistance. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I will inform the director of the problem you're having. I think the problem is probably incurred when you attempt to teach one of the vets who are in residency there. The staff is meager for so many guys. The average is close to forty and when you call, they have to pay attention to the intercom, they may not be on campus due to an appointment or program they are involved in, or in some cases they just don't respond. All enrollees are free to take advantage of the programs available and very little mandatory activity is required of them. The person who answers the phone pages the person you request and can't leave his/her desk to hunt them down. Perhaps you should request a message and phone number be left for the party you wish to speak to to call you back. Hope I helped. There is also only one phone available for those who don't have one.
